HAIR LOSS TREATMENTS : PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

• Mostly applied to women who have thinning, dull or sparse hair, with male hair pattern loss (androgenetic alopecia)
• Treatment is completed in 3 or 4 sessions with a 2-week break in-between.

HAIR TRANSPLANTS : FUE and DHI

• Doctor Yilmaz Öztorun performs the incisions in the FUE method and supervises the implantation with DHI method.
• In all hair transplant operations patients will have consultation with the doctor before and after the operation.
• He is in the room with the  team while drawing the hairline.
• He guides the team on issues such as how many grafts will be extracted from the donor area and the punch size used during the extraction phase.
• He frequently comes to the operating room to control the process.

Preparation: up to an hour

• Shaving: the hair in the nape (donor area) is shaved to 0.3 mm long
• Local anesthesia in the donor area

Extraction of grafts : about 3 hours, with punches of 0.8 or 1 mm. BHT : If required, up to 1000 additoinal grafts can be extracted from beard and / or chest (only for implantation behind the hair line).

Implantation :

a) incisions with Sapphire blades

• Local anesthesia of the recipient area
• Preparation of sites : incisions with Sapphire blades (reduced vibration, less trauma and damage to the skin, ability to carve small holes in order to achieve good density)
• The angle, depth and direction of implanted hair must be given great importance
• Placement of grafts into incisions (40-45 grafts / cm2)

b) Direct Hair Implantation : DHI with Choi implanter

FUE partial shaving (unshaven FUE):  shaved area is camouflaged with long hair, an average of 4000 hair follicles (grafts) can be transplanted in 2 sessions.
